WAI VUONG Graphic & Web Designer

Wai has always been fascinated with textiles and fashion. She has worked in the fashion industry both as a buyer and as a co-owner of a street style boutique for a few years, which gave her the freedom to introduce brands from all over the world.

Her passion of building, designing and creating manifested into over a decade of dedication for her true passion in the world of technical design. Her finely honed technical skills combined with her natural creative abilities in art and design make her an exclusive and exceptional part of the Fab Finds Team.

When designing, Wai introduces classic functional design. Her objective is to keep your style timeless, to sustain lasting impressions. Working with Fab Finds is unequivocally a merger of her joy of fashion and a labour of love. When Wai isn’t working, she is caught up in her latest art project, travelling somewhere new, or hanging out with her life partner and their feathered friend, Adonis.

Liz Blomkamp is a South African born, Vancouver based Graphic Designer. In 2012, she made the switch to Digital Design, from her previous line of work in Event Management and Marketing. Prompted by a growing number of requests for design input from friends, family, and admirers of her work, Liz pursued a graphic design program for formal guidance on how best to channel her inherently innovative, creative energy. Being raised in a family of artists, musicians, photographers, painters, filmmakers, writers, architects and animators, Liz was immersed in an environment that not only fostered, but actively encouraged the pursuit of fine artistic culture. These days, Liz draws inspiration from her overseas travel, her beautiful Pacific Northwest surroundings, and her rambunctious three-year-old son, who adds more than a splash of colour to her work…and the walls of her home. dirtyrottendesign.com

Karen studied English literature and communications. She worked with numerous media outlets as a communications coordinator for a couple of years before taking the leap into the deep end to work for herself. She finds poetry in the way people present themselves. She makes life stories for the people she people watches. Her desire is for this site to create a discussion about style and class and our individual places in it.
